pdfBROCHURE

The “Learning from Action” Working Conference draws on the Group Relations model and aims to help community staff and carers to explore and study the value of their daily activities as a form of communication. The primary task of this working conference is to offer an opportunity to explore how unconscious and non-verbal communication shapes decision making processes and influences accountability and various other aspects of ‘working together’ in this temporary learning community. The experiential learning happens through action and participation within the temporary organisation, through the interaction between individuals and groups.

ALI 2015 - AUTHORITY, LEADERSHIP AND INNOVATION
18th International Group Relations Conference in Italy

AUTHORITY, BOUNDARIES AND CREATIVITY

26th / 29th MARCH 2015 | Hotel Bellavista – Montegrotto Terme (PD)

A Group for individuals who participate in a Group Relations Conference for the first time
B Group for individuals who participate for the second time
T Group for those who participated in two GRCs at least

The CONFERENCE will focus on the different individual, group, systems, and society dimensions. The themes of the Conference will enable you to explore how a system organized by rules, structure and boundaries – with learning as its task – can generate the conditions for an expression of individual, group, and social creativity.

PRIMARY TASK
To explore the exercise of authority and leadership with a special focus on the interactions developing between boundaries and creativity in the Conference.

This version of our conference includes a TRAINING GROUP (TG), a path that helps participants to understand the processes occurring in the GRC and deepen their own expertise in being able to recognize and manage them. The TG is for those who have had previously membership experience of at least two GRCs and are interested in developing this type of learning and applying it in their professional life. The TG has its own separate schedule, which combines experience with moments of reflection on experience.
